I’ll be teaching a class on blogging soon and I’m trying to figure out what blogging platform I should use. Of course I’m leaning more toward WordPress.com for the simple fact that I love it. Blogger is ok, but I doubt if everyone that takes the class will have a google account. Also I like WordPress.com’s themes. It’s great to not have to know web design to have a great looking blog. Just slap in your own header if needed and voila. I just want to go with something that will be easier for the library patrons to set up. If I was teaching the class to a bunch of teenagers I’d definately go with either Livejournal, Vox, or (cringe) Xanga. If anyone else knows of any great free blogging sites, please share!
