Can you believe it’s been 21 years since U2 released Joshua Tree? On the blog http://duncan.hull.name/ the author Duncan has updated the lyrics to their hit song I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. His cool new tech inspired version is called, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Googling For. Checkout the revamped song lyrics here.

This site almost makes me want to move back to Blogger. Recently stumbled upon the site SuckMyLolly (despite the name it’s work safe!) and I’m in love with the designers blogger templates. If you dig the color pink and flowers, check out her design gallery here.

Just discovered the website BMovies.com and I’ve been raving about it to all my movie watching friends. At B Movies you can watch lost and forgotten movies. The movies are grouped into these genre’s: Horror, Sci-Fi, King Fu and Westerns. If you are into extremely cheesy horror movies like me then you will definitely love this site. Sadly Killer Klowns from Outer Space isn’t on BMovies :(  ..I’ll be emailing the site maintainers about that. With any movie watching site make sure you have a fast connection to fully enjoy.

If you are like me and like to convert Youtube videos into mp3 or mpg’s then I have the site for you. It’s Catchvideo.net and it converts Youtube videos into mpg, mp3, wav, flv, and lots more file types. All you do is copy and paste the url of the Youtube video you want converted. Select which file type you want to convert, hit the convert and download button and voila! The site converts the file right there and you can download it to your hard drive. Enjoy!

I’ll be teaching a class on blogging soon and I’m trying to figure out what blogging platform I should use. Of course I’m leaning more toward WordPress.com for the simple fact that I love it. Blogger is ok, but I doubt if everyone that takes the class will have a google account. Also I like WordPress.com’s themes. It’s great to not have to know web design to have a great looking blog. Just slap in your own header if needed and voila. I just want to go with something that will be easier for the library patrons to set up. If I was teaching the class to a bunch of teenagers I’d definately go with either Livejournal, Vox, or (cringe) Xanga. If anyone else knows of any great free blogging sites, please share!
